Update on Water Issue - February 8, 2019

The City of Rollingwood is working with the City of Austin and Austin Water to mitigate the smell coming into our water supply. The City of Rollingwood, and many parts of central and south Austin, are currently experiencing unpleasant smelling water.

Austin Water released the following statement February 7th, 2019, explaining the event and how they are working to resolve the issue:

TRIMMING OF OAK TREES "NOT" ALLOWED FEBRUARY 1ST - JUNE 30TH

Trimming of Oak Trees in the City of Rollingwood is "NOT" allowed from February July 1st to June 30th.

CONSERVATION STAGE WATERING RESTRICTION NOW IN PLACE

The water supply in the area lakes are at full levels. The criteria has been met to lift the restrictions under Stage 1 and return to Conservation Stage watering.
The City of Rollingwood is now in Conservation Stage Watering.

TEXAS STATE CODE – Section 545.356

POCKET BIKES AND MINIMOTORBIKE INFORMATION

THE POLICE DEPARTMENT IS PROVIDING INFORMATION, GUIDELINES, CODES AND STATE STATUTES ON POCKET BIKES AND MINIMOTORBIKES.
